SquishMix: privacy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
SquishMix is a free toy-making game for everyone, made by Herdo MB (Lithuania). This page says, in plain words, what the game collects and why. The short version: no names, no accounts, no chat, no advertising IDs, no personalised ads.
What we collect
On our website and in the Android and iPhone/iPad apps, the game sends anonymous usage events to Google Analytics 4 (through Google Firebase), so we can see whether the game is fun and where it is confusing. For example:
- game events: the game was opened, a toy was started or finished (and which shell, base and fill it used), a mystery capsule was opened, how many minutes were played;
- basic technical facts: the device type, operating system and browser as your browser reports them, the screen size, and the game's build date;
- a random ID that Google Analytics keeps on your device (a cookie in the browser), so a returning player counts once (in the apps: an app-instance ID that is reset when you uninstall). It is not linked to your name, your Google account or an advertising ID;
- the approximate country and region, which Google works out from the connection (city-level location and detailed device data are switched off in our settings). Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses;
- in the apps only: crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) when the game crashes or hits an error: the error, the last few game events before it, the device model and system version. They help us fix bugs.
The Voice Heart toy uses voices that come with the game. The game never uses your microphone or camera.
What we do not collect
- no names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, photos, contacts or precise location;
- no accounts or logins, no chat, nothing is shared with other players;
- no advertising ID; the game shows no ads today;
- no payments.
Children
SquishMix is made for a general audience, including children. Because of that:
- Google signals are turned off and ad personalisation is turned off (for every region) in our Analytics settings, so the data is not used to build advertising profiles;
- we never ask for personal information, and we do not knowingly collect any from children;
- if the game ever shows ads, children will only see non-personalised (contextual) ads.
Your saves stay on your device
Your toys, shelf and unlocked items are saved only in your browser or app storage on your device. We never receive them. Clearing the site data (or uninstalling the app) deletes them.
How long we keep data
Analytics events are kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically by Google Analytics. Crash reports are kept for 90 days.
Who processes the data
Google (Firebase Hosting serves the website; Google Analytics 4 receives the usage events; Firebase Crashlytics receives crash reports from the apps), under Google's privacy policy and its data processing terms. We do not sell or share the data with anyone else.
Your choices
- An ad or tracker blocker, or your browser's "do not allow cookies" setting, stops the analytics; the game still works fully.
- Opening the game as
squish-lab.web.app/?nostats=1turns the analytics off for that visit. - Because the data is anonymous, we cannot find "your" data by name. If you have a question or want us to look into something, write to us.
